i and mine friend both are
i and mine friend both are having same plan of 500c in bsnl and speed under this plan is 2mbps or 256KBps ... i am getting 1.8mbps or 240KBps which is extremely good but his speed is going beyond 700KBps or 8mbps which is much fast .. moreover uder this plan maximum speed is only 2mbps he is getting more if anyone knows how to increase please tell me

Primary DNS Server: 218.248.255.212
Secondary DNS Server: 218.248.255.139
* These IP vary time by time...
So, it would be advisable to all Broadband / DSL user to use OpenDNS like service, which prevents DNS Cache Poisoning at some extent.
To Change DNS, Kindly Configure 'Network Adapter'
to the following two successful OpenDNS//
One is belongs to Google: 8.8.8.8
Another pne is from OpenDNS it self: 206.67.220.220
and 208.67.222.222
This will perfectly solve domain name to ip address in no-time
So finally...
Use these DNS Servers instead of so-called BSNL's jurk !

I appreciate your post. It is really useful to change the dump default BSNL DNS address with high spped Open DNS or global DNS. The next important think we need to do is install TCP/IP optimizer on your computer and tweak its packet flows.
